The MK Aspect range The simple, clean styling of the MK Aspect is both classic and contemporary, so it looks good anywhere in your home or, in fact, in any environment where style and quality are important.

The profile is beautifully slim, measuring just 4 mm thick, so it is discreet as well as stylish. Also, the screws are concealed behind an elegant front-plate, making the Aspect more attractive still.
In addition to its impressive appearance, the Aspect is a product that boasts a high level of safety. It incorporates MK's three-pin operated child-resistant safety shutter system, which is designed to prevent misuse and unsafe access to live circuitry. The system inhibits access to the electricity supply unless all three pins of a standard British 13 amp plug are in position, allowing the user to rest comfortably in the knowledge that they have the safest range of wiring devices installed in their surroundings. The Aspect also has a patented spring clip design that ensures a positive earth connection of the front plate and end-user safety.


The MK Aspect range comes in a choice of six standard high-quality finishes, and MK Electric gives the option for custom design service, which enables the Aspect to enhance the effect of any new décor. In addition to the MK Aspect, MK Electric makes reliable, easy-to-install and effective dimmer switches and a comprehensive range of modular switches.

Installation
All metal decorative faceplates must be earthed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE wiring regulations and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
These decorative wiring accessories should not be installed onto a newly plastered or freshly decorated wall until thoroughly dry (refer to the manufacturer's data for determining drying times) as some wall finishes may contain alkali's and solvents.
To prevent tarnishing gaskets should always be fitted between the plate and the wall. It is strongly recommended that the products are only installed when the building works are completed, as exposure to brick, cement and plaster dust and the like may adversely affect the finish and operation of the products. Alternatively, as protection a plastic bag should be retained on the product during the installation process, also note that masking tape should not be applied to the product.
Cleaning Advice
These decorative wiring accessories have been manufactured with the finest materials and some are treated with a fine coat of lacquer to give a hard durable finish.
The only cleaning treatment required is by wiping over the plate with a soft dry lint-free cloth, however for more stubborn marks, a very lightly moistened cloth with a mild detergent such as washing up liquid can be used. Note: This liquid must be diluted before use.
Under no circumstances should any abrasive or solvent polishes, cleaning fluids, paint removers or similar treatments of this kind be applied to the product.
